Solutions at Scale: Vertical + Lateral Urban Large At Scale Systems
• Urban Scale involve at scale design and delivery of larger engineering and architcture using offsite large scale structural (eg steel kits or systems, precast components, etc.) together with large scale enclosure technologies, including volumetric, panels, tilt up concrete or insulated, etc.. Design and delivery at Urban scale offers consideration of various combinations of at scale structural and enclosure technologies for maximum cost efficiency.
Design program types include:
• Large scale industrial structure and enclosure system, such as for distribution or data centers, and;
• Midrise, such as stagger truss re mixed use residential/commercial.
Examples illustrated and currently untapped in US construction, except in hospitality and hotels, include:
• Stagger Truss using panel and/or volumetric for demising and enclosure;
• Urban Landscape Building.
